> New firmware for the W950i

I'm trying to update my W950i and the stupid update software just keeps going into a loop. I select the country, I click on Start and accept terms of use, then I select the connection type. When I turn off the phone and hold down the C and then release it when I'm told, the software goes to it's detection progress, but it just restart from the beginning with no error messages.
I've updated my other SE phones before and never had this problem. I even tried another PC with new XP image and same problem.
Anyone else with this issue?

when I run the update service I get a white flash window that does nothing and when i right click it says movie not loaded...
Anybody knows something or experienced the same thing?

for some reason i am unable to access update via the pc suite, it says the update service isnt installed, but it is.
i keep getting a bubble popping up in the bottom right corner (where all the taskbar icons are) saying that one of my usb devices has malfunctioned. managed to click on it, and this is what came up (SEUS continued running at the same time.

are there any specific drivers i need to download and install coz apparantely nothing on the cd supplied with the phone is suitable

It is normal to get that message i get it all the time with both the p990 and w950 and seus does continue to update! (or at least i would if there were an update available!)

I checked mine and it shows that I have.
Ph: R9C001 Bt: R3A01 Org: R1B01 Cda: R2A02
My w950i is unbranded.
I tried to update using SEUS (both English US and UK) version and still get a message that I have the latest version.
It took a while to get used to the UIQ as I was a k750i user previously. But the phone crashes a lot, especially in Walkman mode. HELP!
Any suggestions??

I too have a branded /29 version. Carphonewarehouse strikes again.
I assume that I should unbrand and then run the SEUS update.
But will it stop crashing!?!?!
