Expansys UK has S500 for GBP181.95 that's NZ$476 which is close to the V630i at NZ$499. That's a little expensive for a 2.5G phone
even with slider and fancy lights and themes. Listed as coming soon on parallel importer sites, I might have to wait and see what the post launch price falls to.

My friend juz bought the Black one, slide mechanism great and sturdy. Unlike W850i, kinda loose sometimes. Camera although no AF, but take great shots. The lights st the side is very unique, and becomes a signature feature of the phone. Ringing tones is like 72 Polyphonic, although it says only 40. Sound is clear and not muffled, or like W880i. Definitely recommend. Me waiting for W580i cause of radio. (S500i has nor radio though...)

i tried one in a shop yesterday, my biggest impression is that the keypad buttons are really, i mean, really small. it's quite hard to press blindly like you often can do on most phones, in this case you need to check where you put your fingers or you'll press the wrong button. i guess it all comes down to practice, but well i thought it worth mentioning and pondering if you wanna buy this model.

How come there are so few decent reviews on it out there? Even mobile-review.com hasn't got a review on it yet.
