It seems logical. You see three small dots under the screen that's to indicate where to press coressponding to the on-screen label. That part will be a soft rubber which hence you can push like a button.

I'll be happy with minor things like periodic sms alerts, recurring appointments in calender and file manager that responds 2 number input like my old w800i, ie keypad shortcut..

Some info about the screen.

" Mest intryck gör spontant skärmen som enligt personalen på plats använder en ny teknik där man placerar skärmen så att verkar som limmad på telefonen. Resultatet är att bilden blir ovanligt skarp och det märks när man tittar på den."

Free translation from me...

Most impression is the screen that according to the persons that tested the phone uses a new technique where you place the screen so it lookes like it is glued on the phone. The result is that the picture is unusally sharp and it is really visible when you look at it.

...Intresting...

i can tell you something about the fingerprints.

they are probarly really hard to see them with your "eys" (if you understand what i mean).
it was the same before i bought my k810i (everyone was talking about the prints), but when you at last buy/use the phone, it was very very difficullt to see them. (i only see some prints in strong sunshine or if you take a macro-picture with a good camera).

im convinced its the same with k850i

touch sensitive soft keys, now thats pretty cool. I personally don't like touching anywhere near my screen, But end up doing it alot

Can't wait for their UIQ devices for business, Oh why didn't they make the W960 with a full qwerty like P1, That would have been the perfect phone.

Why Sony Why?
