Hi!

I will get a good memory card for the TyTn II but are there any other, " need fairly soon " accessories that you would recommend?

I read that the screen protector bubbles too easily when applied...

and applications ! TCPMP ! Is it still recommended? Not sure what files I would need and can see the site here

actually I tried tcpmp but it complained that it needed a codec to play the videos I used to play with it which has been removed due to some licencing problem.

Windows media player plays them fine though so no worries

Resco file explorer is still a good buy and it comes with a registry editor which is useful for tweaking a few things.

I've never used screen protectors so can't comment.

I did buy a mini-usb to 3.5mm adaptor as the HTC supplied headsets, which connect via the mini-usb port, have never been too great. They're a few pounds on ebay

Hi masseur!

thanks for your reply ! Ordered today with a 6gig card!

I don't use E-Bay ...... but can see an adaptor with microphone at Cloves site! Now ordered....

I will check out Resco file explorer this evening !

Would I need the regeditor to do this ?

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\\Software\\HTC\\Camera\\Image

Change the value named "EnableEncodePortrait" to 0 and the images will be saved "unrotated".

Or can I do that without extra software?

I did see a freeware registry editor a while back so I'm sure if you google you'll come up with that

I found that the link ( http://mobile.sky.com/skyapp/ ) for sky remote record that you get texted when you register just gives the message "Unfortunately your phone is not compatible with the Sky Anytime on Mobile application." on both P1 and TyTN II

a bit of googling came up with this link...

http://mobile.sky.com/skyapp/[....]id/SkyMobile_SonyWithoutTv.jar

but interestingly it crashes on my P1 with reason code ETEXT, reason number 12... but works perfectly on the TyTN II as I have managed to view the sky program guide and set a couple of programs to record from my phone at work (confirmed by my wife at home)

great stuff!

mate, so you got a softbank X01HT, how do you feel? i missed the earlier release Dopod 838Pro A.K.A HTC Hermes due to high volume selling! and ran out of stock for some time, before switching to the P990 oh well not a great move, anyway, i had been through lots of mobile phones since, including the ATOM life, but when someone offers me the softbank last nite, my mind running wild again! and here, you are having one

how does it feel??? tell me mate! i am so excited

I don't own a Softbank/TyTN unfortunately. My friend at work owns one. Mostly its in a black case with a few dark metal grey for borders around the screen.

I'd like to upgrade to this & also the K850i. Money is really tight right now though so I don't know.

@Masseur, thats for the carrying in pants pocket response. Helps my decision making process. I wear chino's mostly (casual dress code @ work , some Friday's its jeans day). My jeans are an athletic and loose fit, like Chino's so I'd be ok.

Hi !

Easy question! With a lot of Palm Applications, the passcode and name of your device i.e. Tungsten_T3 are linked. The name is show when synchronisation is performed.

Is this the same with the TyTn II?

In other words, can I purchase Resko File Explorer before I receive my TyTn II ?

Thanks!
