Hi,

I would like to ask if M600 can be updated also to the latest firmware?
Does anybody knows? Because P990 and W950 was updated, I am wondering if M600 will also be updated.

Thanks and looking forward to your favorable response.

definitely noticed the keyboard types much quicker now. Anyone know if the activesync "bugette" is fixed - as in can you choose how you want syncs to happen as in the same way as earlier f/w?

[slightly off topic bit]btw, am i incorrect or were there promises made in the marketing blurb that haven;t been kept/delivered - in which case (certainly under english law) you have recourse to the manufacturer - sale of goods act and misrepresentation spring to mind.

any legal eagles care to comment?

when phone is turned off does alarm works fine guys? dose phone volume now louder??

this (alarm) feature will not be changed or updated because it is a basic feature of the phone. it is even stated in the manual that the alarm will only work when the phone is on.

volume is loud enough for me even with the older version. i don't notice the sound being louder with this latest update so i'd say it's just the same.

the upgrade is worth it. definitely much better than the previous R6.

I am on R5 right now and am wondering if to upgrade to the new R6, as I heard that the last update basically brings back the phone features to the R5 standards.

Some things are better, nothing seems worse. If you can be bothered, you could think about upgrading. I didn't bother with the last upgrade, since it seemed to be a backwards step - same doesn't apply now.

Some menu items seem to have been added, not sure though.

After using the latest F/W for a while I think Memory Management is a teeny-tiny bit better as after using it for the 3rd day i'm having 11+ mB. Just an idea though...
