Just did a quick test an it seems to me that it does not auto-focus while recording. I noticed that Macro mode is not supported also.
Seems like the focus is fixed at the optimum position, from something like 50cm to infinite (? difficult to evaluate)
The camera captures movies at 320x240, so a *perfect* focus is not that relevant.
Edit: No, not blurry at all. Pretty smooth.

I too noticed general improvements in stability and performance.
Animations are very smooth. (But the lines animations dont work.. or not implemented yet .. ie. when u make vertical selections by using jog dial)
Seems this Version of Firmware has entered RC stage from Beta

I think they disabled the vertical selection because it was he most irritating animation of the bunch. It never worked well anyway.

As far as I know, the ONLY way of telling is to actually turn on the phone and check the CDA version (tap More on bottom right corner of screen, tap Status then scroll to CDA). The key is that after the six digit number there is a slash followed by one or two digits. This should be either 1 or 2 for World Generic 1 or World Generic 2. If it is any other number don't buy it. For World Generic 1, the actual numbers appearing will be: CDA 162022/1 R6F38. However, this is the latest firmware which is unlikely to be on any phone on sale now so what you find will be slightly different. Just make sure it has the "xxxxxx/1" or "xxxxxx/2".

I can't update mine, and my CDA is weird, how about this one: CDA162024/92 R4A... I thougth it supposed to one digit after the slash?
