I got the R3CA033 firmware so far so good no inactive sim messages, media player is faster, camera seems to be improved.

same here - waiting for SEUS to upload the new R3CA firmware.... My C702 has been suffering from occassional inactive SIM card, reboots

No more reboots on the new firmware, and sound quality has been improved, i have a 02 branded phone so i guess new firmware is only avaible on 02 phones, i will check the camdriver version later i think the last one was 2.6.

is c702 water proof or just water resistant??

is it possible to take c702 with me while i am swimming...and even use it in the pool while i am swimming?

the phone is just splash resistant, so it cannot swim...
