I thought these came with tomtom 7?

edit: ah! it seems it might come with TT7 but you still have to buy maps and TT6 maps are not compatible with TT7 (sorry)

This is the problem with not having a card slot. I have a perfectly usable (and official) Garmin XT Europe on micro SD but I couldn't use that on a Diamond touch if I got one... what were HTC thinking!

Tomtom 7 is running perfectly with my TT6 map (France) on my Diamond, it seems it depends on rom/maps

Not only does the touch pro have a full keyboard, it also has a flash for the camera. I think the touch pro will be my next phone... Doubting between that one, the Xperia X1 and the Sasmsung i900 Omnia.

my son is in the contract renewal period on Orange and I've been waiting for them to get their act together and get the Diamond out, but despite several customer service people telling me last week that it is imminent I am now told today that it won't be till August, so perhaps I'll forget about it by then, not that I was particularly interested anyway but thought I might have a play if there was an opportunity.

actually, orange have very little offer these days as most of the high end stuff is either out of stock or coming soon!

A quick question, how have you got Tom Tom 7? I keep looking on there website and now where does it mention version 7 for any mobile platform?

This is all it's got:

Well, TT7 was directly pre-installed on the diamond in some countries. The TT7 .cab has been extracted..

Cheers, oh well it won't wrk with Symbian then hehe. I've sent an email to Tom Tom asking them if they'll ever release it officially. Probably not though. I just want a definitive answer cause I'll buy version 6 then. I did rip it off to check it worked first, and now I want to buy it but not if 7 is coming out.
