Your phone is REEEAAALLYYY slow! My K810i takes between 2-3 seconds to focus.

So sorry. I shall flog myself with spikes till dead for not understanding with mine feeble brain.
By the way, I just timed mine and it takes a pic and saves in just over 4 secs. Your phone is dog slow.

But lets not all start timing our phone cameras cause that'll be really sad. I'm sure we can all agree though that an 8 sec procedure is a little on the slow side, for what is supposed to be the high end of the market.

God your K800i must have poor firmware. Mine from pulling down the shutter and taking a pic takes 3 seconds.

~4 seconds to save a 3MP pics is kinda slow for a DEDICATED cameraphone considering the fact that the INNOV8 has roughly about ~65% more MPs to process in the 8 seconds it saves it's pic!

But the INNOV8 is so much more than a cameraphone. So I can forgive it's slow saving times. Recording video is brilliant on it.

Out of curiosity, how fast does the C905 save a pic?

Please to understand purpose of flogging was to kill me till I died from it. Spike proofing not allowed in spike death punishment.

So if a camera is a 1.3mpx, it takes about 1.5 seconds to save? I'm not sure it works like that. 4 seconds is not slow to focus and save at all. It's about as fast as the cheapest Digicams.

Mobile-Review wouldn't mention the 8 sec process time unless it was worth mentioning. Therefore the C905 speed is not mentioned at all, because it will be consistent with other Sony Ericsson solutions, which is pretty quick.
