I surf using BT just to check it out, yes I can surf from bed... but more than anything, I use BT as my IM para personal communcator talaga. Now, with Opera, I can surf as well!
Now that I know I can surf using BT, I'm planning to setup a small BT network here in my house... a small USB relay should be enough to extend the cable length.

@paomig, you can dl opera via P800, but it might take a while (it's about 1MB), and you'll need a lot of space on your P800 to unzip it. If you have around 5-6MB free, this shouldn't be a problem.

Having problems with Opera too. Trying to load google and the progress bar stops at 1k then I get "could not connect to remote server" error. Ok naman sa built in browser.

@jhermano- you must be using the www.globe APN. it didnt work for me too using that. if you can grab a prepaid SIM, you might want to try internet.globe APN. no charges for me so far.
i'm using prepaid on P800 so that it's safe in case Globe does something nasty.

i tried using my postpaid.. ok naman.
but when i tried using my 2 other prepaids.. "not ready" daw.
(my 2 prepaid has gprs naman)
i tried using
www.globe.com.ph as APN.. it will connect then.. wala.. (both post and prepaid)
so far, only ferr was able to use his prepaid and internet.globe.com.ph
ill find some old prepaid sim ...
