why do orange sell the ugly silver one with a big fat orange logo on it!

I'd buy one if I could find it in black or could get the O2 one and unlock.

I am already with Orange and i got the silver one with them for now as i needed new phone. The branding is foul but for now dont care. Needed new phone limited budget at the moment and could not get it anywhere else unless it was higher price. I prefer silver the black one looks too bland. Would have liked gold or something.

not available on PAYG, contract yes!

its coming on 02 PAYG in P4U. They have it advertised in store for £97 + £10 top up - if you want sim free then play is cheaper!

Just tested the smile shutter on the camera. I was a little sceptical at first if it would work. I was impressed its great. Never used any feature like that before. Cant put this phone down love it so much. Since i have had a K800i for so long this is the first new generation SonyEricsson i have owned. I love them now more than i ever did before. Dont miss Nokia no more.

Have noticed the battery is not the best but still better than any Nokia.

Just got my unbranded and unlocked C510 this morning from www.play.com for £149.99 (less 2 £10 gift vouchers I had!).

I'm liking it a lot so far.

The menus are noticeably faster than my W902 and the screen is MUCH brighter too.

It's a shame it doesn't come with a memory stick as standard though.

Ran it through SEUS and it already found an update from R1DA029 to R1DA032. No noticeable differences though yet.

Although its only a couple of millimeters narrower and shorter compared to the W902 it feels nicer in the hand and is lighter.

Mine is R1DA032 as well its so far very stable with zero crashes in nearly 5 days. Fingers crossed it wont. Only one thing i noticed was once i went to take a picture the screen showed Cyber Shot camera came on then all of a sudden it showed Cyber Shot on screen again and went back to standby. But only happened once. Other than that zero problems.

Can i ask someone please as i am unsure. I have this phone with Orange branding. Without debranding the phone can the software still be updated via SEUS even with Orange branding? Thanks.

Bought a completely unlocked one in Greece today for 195 euros at a chain-store. Very well built and its display puts the C902 to shame. The rear camera cover is also solid and original. Its signal capabilities are TOP and the earpiece is very loud which I consider very important for a phone. The photos it takes are quite good under daylight but the twin-led-flash is only good for closeups in the dark. The screen is actually quite scratch resistant but not mineral glass like the T650. It works superbly with my 4GB memory card. Overall it appears like a good buy since it includes all the modern technologies like HSUPA and advanced camera functions.

Here are some photos I took on the way back home.
