Hi RGA,
I posted a quick guide on BookManager a few pages back. Try to find it mate cos stopping elves without it or elfmanager is difficult without restarting the phone. Any phone running elfs IMHO should always have BookManager runnning.
As for clock elf, make sure the pngs are in the dir you specify in the clock bcfg. In the bcfg there is an option called "Images path(ini)" this means images go in phone/other/ini/Your DIR. In that option enter Your DIR. Example: Mine says "/Clock" so my images are in usb/other/ini/Clock.

Hi Boysie, Im getting there mate, followed your short tut bout bookmanager like you said.Now when i turn my phone on i press long act which opens me up to book manager, then i have a shortcut to open daemons admin.This is where im stuck.It lists 6 elves, when i press more,add new,clock..........it says this elf if already present! clock elf isnt running on standby screen, and to top it off when i go to start it via file manager menu, my phone reboots! I actually had clock elf working earlier by itself, but think that was when i was just using book manager, cant remember. Do you have any idea why im getting this reboot? dont be to pxxxxx with me! RGA

Check what you have in card/other/zbin/daemons. Maybe its been run from there (Maybe its a bug?? I don't know). You should have DaemonsAdmin.elf and a folder called "Auto" (This is used by DaemonsAdmin and
post what you have in this folder) and nothing else. Anything in "Auto" folder is controlled by DaemonsAdmin.
Also if the Clock.elf is giving reboot try my lib.bin which is up-to-date and is here...

ok im going to apply your lib.bin and sort daemons folder out. understand bookmanager , lovely, what is point of D admin and what deos it do, and if i wanted to start clock elf how should i be doing it? RGA

auto folder. all i did was copy clock elf into it. removed it now back to normal, just applyed your new lib, laughing cos my phones making funny whooop noise we keylock or summat, just tried to start clock elf got reboot going to try new dyn.........

DaemonsAdmin is good at detecting problem elfs during startup, can disable them automatically if needed and leaves a short delay in starting elfs thus reducing crashes. U can also configure the sensitivity of the elf monitoring in the bcfg.
Clock elf works for me. Update ur lib and dyn and all will be ok.

still rebooting........ just going into file manager 5th tab, zbin,clock elf.just checked the bcfg file in configs, they look alrite aswell, mite be lost mate here!
