Mizzle another question. Gaming on it. Good or bad? I mean the screen is nice enough for it right?

It's really good. Had a good time playing the 7 preloaded games on it on my way home today.

Bowling (using the motion sensor), Bubble Town (awesome game), Diamond Island, Guitar Rock Tour (again, awesome game), Nitro Street Racing, Playman Extreme Running, and Real Football 2008.

It is definitely based on the A2 software platform, yes, but I can't see why the Walkman player isn't completed, if it's still using the third version of the player.

The prototype I'm using is very fast. It's also significantly faster when auto-rotating the display orientation.

Does anyone esle here think that it is really poor that se are still using walkman 3.0 on there latest models still, walkman 3.0 was announced on 14th June 2007 thats well over a year old, the walkman player is still the same with one slight upgrade (fancy equalisers), i would of expect at least skins now added and other smarts, very unimpressive, and since the w995 is the top dog i would expect walkman 4.0 to be released at least a year after w995 is released

It's running a rather early version of Walkman 4 currently. Needs refining.

So does that mean SE should/will refine it or just that it should be and they may not?

Mizzle any comment on pic quality? Any chance of posting a few pics?

It's pretty good, as NightBlade said. Now that I've used it a bit more, I wouldn't say it's better than the C905 overall, but it's almost as good. I haven't transferred any pictures to my computer yet, so you'll have to wait for that.

@Mizzle

How is the gaming & video playback preformamce?
And how loud are the (stereo) speakers
+ the bass quality through the headset?
Is the display scratch resistant?
Peace

I believe I've already answered the two first questions, so I'll just move right along. The stereo speakers are really loud! Haven't had much of a play with the headset yet nor any songs, but I have played a few of the demo songs on the device with the headset and they sounded good.

Yes, the display is made of scratch resistant mineral glass.

So what exactly is the deal with MediaGo? From what I understand, I can load up my existing .avi's, .divx's, and .mp4's, regardless of resolution and framerate, and the w995 will adjust and play as best as it can, like CorePlayer for Windows Mobile.

But that's too good to be true. What does MediaGo really mean?

Media Go basically just adds an optimized video converter.

How's the screen outdoor? Is it readable under sunlights??

Very good. Even the black and white tones are very good in direct sunlight.

Mizzle, I have something to ask u to try it for W995

playing music continuously 6 hours per day how many day W995 can handle?

and Wi-Fi feature is it drain how much battery when using at least 30 mins?

and last question about torch!! is it bright as W902?
I remember W902 has borrow PowerLED from C902 and it produce a good quality of light.

Thank you very much.

I'm guessing it would last for 2 or 3 days, if you did nothing else than play 6 hours of music on it every day.

30 minutes of WLAN usage is about a 10% battery drain.

SE claims that the LED is the same, which means it's a so-called Photoflash LED. It does work in a similar way and it is very bright indeed, so I think it's true.

Hope I answered them all.
