The 'square' phone is reminding me of that horrendous square Nokia phone with the buttons down the sides from years ago.
Sounds likes lots of phones on the way.
Or perhaps the awesome phone with the keyboard on one side and when you turn it, there where buttons for the media player. Or like that LG which twisted. We need twisty phones from SE dammit!

The Android P1-like phone is my perfect phone, hopefully, the specs are up to date and it is powerful enough. Pity I am going to be dictated to by SE's financial report in the second quarter next year.
I also love the Pureness and would love to get it but again- Q2, 2010!
This square phone sounds really strange. SE are brilliant at designing phones though sometimes one or two slip through and look horrible like the Jalou.

Huh, what's with the Q2 2010 financial report?

@domipost
Noooo, please don't read too much into that. That applies ONLY to me and nobody else.
What I have decided on is that I won't buy an SE phone until they show positive results in their financial statement next year in the second quarter. You see, I had problems when Ericsson quit the mobile phone market, couldn't find batteries and other accessories and I don't want to go back to that situation with SE should they fold. My take is that if they make another loss in Q2, 2010 then the writing may be on the wall and my decision to stop buying from them would have been right. Of course, the flipside is also possible, if truth be told, I am hoping for that scenario cause I love this brand more than any out there.
I know about Ericsson's pledge to 'pump' more money into SE but losing too much money changes perspectives and Ericsson or Sony are not immune from that.
Guess we will see next year.

@Dups!
Ah, I got it. I think it'll take them a few more months to make profit again, but who knows

Honestly, domipost, I don't need a huge profit from them in Q2, a break even result or even a 1 percent profit is enough for me.
I think Q2 is reasonable in my book. They have restructured for long enough and it is time for results to show. A Q4 loss is not much of a concern but if it is big, say, it is only a 10, 20 or even 30 percent drop from the previous loss then I'd be slightly concerned. I am hoping for them to be closer to break even in this quarter's results.
Too optimistic? Maybe, but it's time they start improving.

There will still be some losses in this report. X2 delayed, pulls from provider retail chains of the Satio & Aino will affect the results. The costs/expenses should drop significantly though.
I think its time SE trades publicly and soon.

Wouldn't Sony and Ericsson have to relinquish their ownership (or some of it) for Sony Ericsson to be traded publicly? Are there 50-50 joint ventures that are publicly traded?
