I have a query. I have a Sony Ericsson G700 which is a UIQ smartphone. I want to transfer:
1.Contacts
2.Messages
I have more than 800 contacts and some very imp messages which I dont want to lose. Is there a way I can transfer them from the G700 to my Xperia X8?
I suggest you try tips on migrating contacts etc. from these threads:
Transferring contacts notes etc to X10
Migrating Contacts/Notes/Calendar from Old SE to X10
With X8 it is the same as with other Android based Xperia's

Thanks Phoner! I was trying out a frnd's X8...will get mine this weekend so will check out those links then.
@All
All those who have bought the X8, does it feel cheap in any way? I mean I know it's all plastic but I hope it doesn't give the impression of a low end device. Does it feel on par with the X10 mini? Am lookin to get it as a 2nd phone but I don't want to feel like I'm holding a $50 phone in my hands

What are the back covers you got along with the white? Is the black one out too? I agree it looks beautiful in white.

some buyers report they are getting in-ear headphones but unboxing videos show regular headsets why?
i ordered th x8 from chip.shop.de in germany and it comes with two back covers only (white&pink).does anybody know if the x8 in germany comes with in-ear or regular headphone (i really want an in-ear one)?
the phone will take a week to arrive because i live in Egypt.
thx

Pity that the MH810 isn't included in many countries.
