Nah, it doesn't matter anymore, because I returned both Neos.
Ray also has a better size for me, so I'd really like to try that one. Thinking about buying from Play.com, since it's 130 euro cheaper than a local webshop here. But I'm also thinking about waiting and seeing more reviews and video-samples online before I buy.

Says Sep 9th on play.com now, "pre-order" at expansys and isn't to be seen at se-store.co.uk, in other words hang on for another month or so I guess.

They changed the date then. It used to say August 15th (today actually).

Here is a video sample shot using ray, under - let's say - very challenging video and especially audio conditions

Couldn't do a video/cam test since this was a demo unit...but one of my main concern was the ease of one-handed operation. I'm quite fond of my X10 Mini Pro, and the interface of the Mini/Mini Pro line... but the screen and thinness of the ray is hard to ignore. It's quite responsive, I hope they release it soon! The aluminum frame feels really nice too! I was hoping the rear cover would've been aluminum too, then again it might cause reception issues.
My first hands-on with the xperia ray testing one-handed operation

Yes it is. Ironically, the Sony Ericsson Concept Store right across it doesn't have it.
