Touch focus seems the better option, although it would have been nice to have had a camera button as well.
Don't forget touchscreen doesn't work that good under water!

Doesn't the V have wet finger tracking? I'd like to see how this worked underwater. Are there any Acro S demos?

Guys the touchscreen doesn't work underwater. Wet Finger Tracking only applies when its used in the rain or there is a splash of water on the screen.

So the only way to capture underwater pics is to use self timer before sinking

Do we know anything else about the metal frame, is it's real metal or just chromed plastic?

It's chromed plastic and I'm afraid with a time chrome will fade away which will make the phone look horrible. On the other hand, people say it's very well built, so hopefully my fears won't come true. Anyway, IMHO that chromed plastic is bigger issue than commonly mentioned favorites - lack of camera button and VGA front facing camera.
All in all, I'm eagerly waiting for this phone's release.

All I can think of why they put VGA camera on front is may be it does not consume a lot of 3G or Internet data. May be!

Makes sense, but V comes with LTE. With this kind of speeds even Full HD front facing camera shouldn't be an issue.
The best solution would be let the user to select what kind of resolution you want to use. I don't think they saving much on a sensor (VGA vs. 720p/1080p).

Exactly, That's what I thought. I'm sure Sony must have thought too still don't know what's the reason behind VGA. Almost all their phones have 1mp+ front facing camera then why would V have VGA? it's a question to ask Sony cause I'm sure they must be having some valid answer to it.
