I always preferred Sony for music quality. When I once had an iPod touch and the iPhone 4 I thought both even with better headphones never sounded very good. As for camera nothing touches the 808 as I seen with Fbloise photos today he shared with me on Face Book. He has contacts within Nokia and has been given a Pureview for two weeks. So the new Apple headphones are crap?? @etaab Apple saying sorry is a rare occurrence. Someone posted a funny photo online which said Apple Maps Tech Development Team. But it was the cast of Lost

the headphones that come in the package with the iphone 5, are crap.

Well.. honestly my perception of "good headphones" is, to say the least, obscured. I am a bit of a.. audiophile, so in the past 10 years I've been using high quality headphones (shure, westone, etc.) and I haven't really tested any of the low end phones in a LONG time, so when I put the new iphone ones on, it blew me away how bad they were.. but they might not be, i don't know i tested them against my worst pair, which is a head-direct RE0, and they still sucked.

I found the EQs btw.. they are under settings>music>eq Played around with them.. the 808 still sounds better, it has more depth, better dynamic range, deeper bass.. the iphone sound "cleaner" in a sense, but almost anemic compared to the 808. That dolby headphone algorithm really works well on the Finish product, i am not sure what it is exactly, but it works.

also, after reading the GSMarena review of the iPhone.. they tested the screen outdoor, and on their chart there is only one screen better than the iPhone 5 .. so I tested them, and I can confirm, the iphone 5 is very good under direct sunlight .

That's good screen on Pureview then. Nokia displays have been some of the best lately especially Clear Black on say the Lumia 800. And Nokia Symbian phones have great music quality generally.

Screen on the 808 is ok in that regard, but its no where near the iphone in terms of resolution. Color reproduction is also a bit more natural on the iphone.. lcd vs. amoled.. common issue. The resolution.. it doesn't really make that much difference in everyday usage, but if you start reading text for a longer period of time, its more pleasant on the iphone for sure.

On sound quality.. their Symbian phones, yes, they WP phones, not so much. My lumia 900 was no where near the 808, and I am pretty sure its not as good as the iphone 5. I've heard the sound on the 800 is not that good either.. lets hope they can fix it on WP8, but.. i remain skeptical.

The Nokia Lumia phones arent truly Nokia internally though, their production and components are mostly outsourced, while the Symbians are built mostly within.

That's true yes. I found the iPhone 5 screen a touch pale

I did get to see the new iPhone headphones
At HMV tbh I don't think there worth £32
Tho tbh but one thing that does appeal to me
Is that there not meant to fall out of someone's
Ears as much as the classic headphones!

iPhone headphones generally sound better
Than the iPod headphones I think though

Sure there not as bassy as I would live but
There a lot better than sounding then the iPod
Touch tin cans ones

Btw thanks for ur input nice to get honest
Feedback about something I'm interested in
For a change I'm now undecided to even purchase
The new ear-pods in a sense now

That, and Symbian is very good an handling audio streams.. I don't remember which chapter, but I remember reading about it in this book: http://www.amazon.com/Symbian[....]8-1&keywords=symbian+internals

here is one more low light test, this time I added the N8 for reference: https://skydrive.live.com/redir?resid=424646B5863880EB!2389
