@Karun @Indiandawg.. Even Random said that he got an information from a Sony center that Z would release in India by march... Great news for India indeed...
Ya the only issue is it might come without LTE
Yeah. Even I think so.
@Indiandawg
Black Xperia Z?
Na bro, I'll surely be going for the White Xperia Z
I have to say, after a long time I'll be using a true flagship Sony Smartphone. After p990i I doubt there were really any true flagship phones from SE or Sony.
Interesting. But I think X1 was amazing in it's time as well.
I also think that yes Z is almost perfect.
Just this f.... camera button.
If we could map some other keys to it...
I had X1 and I remember I was miles away with the technology because at that point iPhone was launched. The X1 touchscreen could not match up with iPhone for obvious reasons. WM was way behind than iOS that time.
X10/Arc S/XS/XT are all high end smartphones but not like top end. XZ is the best smartphone in the market without a doubt. It's got everything and it's water/dust resistant!
It was quite the opposite. iOS was a joke compared to WM featurewise. WM was just quite old fashioned and ugly.

Personally at that point I felt iOS was new and flawless compared to WM old & buggy. Feature wise, iOS is still a joke

The screen is IPS, TFT is not a panel type
. All LCDs use TFT matrix, and some OLED too. The major display types are - TN, IPS and VA.
And Z/ZL use same screen as Droid DNA.

Wait for the first teardown of Z/ZL and you will see that it is not the same display as the one used in the Droid DNA.
Or a screen comparison.

1.There won't be any teardown.
2. Sharing the same panel does not mean same image quality. Z/ZL have lots of other tech to differentiate from Droid DNA. Also they have sensor on lens technology like Xperia V. But the basic panel is the same.
Btw on topic,
Xperia Z now No.2 most popular device on GSMArena !!! No.1 is an Indian phone.

wow...no. 2 on popularity on gsmarena is awesome...generally the people that visit gsmarena and the website themselves aren't that favourable towards sony...
i really hope this phone propels sony to no.1 smartphone vendor...its a long shot, but all sony needs to do is release this phone on time, within the next few weeks or so and they will sell like free hotcakes...i for one will be getting one as soon as possible....hope sony have some new awesome wallpapers/live wallpapers as well....
does anyone else feel like they will miss timescape?...i feel like it was one of the differentiating factors for xperia phones...tbh, i don't really use it all that much but i will miss it...

They actually mentioned to the effect of over 50 years of Sony experience & expertise summarized into the smartphone. If that's not gonna get it to be popular then nothing will. And I think the gravity of that statement means they have really upped the ante on this one. I can't be prouder and happier for Sony. The days of my b!%hing about them has finally ended
Of course, it's gonna start again if they don't deliver it soon
