For an ISO3200 shot it is definitely good. A solid improvement over the Z2 and Z1 IMO. Most other smartphones can't even shoot at ISO3200 like the S5, G3, Note 3, 4 etc. Only the iPhone 5s camera manages ISO3200, and of course the Nokia Lumia devices.

So at least for low light shots, Z3 has the best camera on an Android/iOS smartphone. Only the Lumia 1020 can fare better I believe.

Seems that the software is doing a lot of smoothing and trying to minimize noise which hurts the details but overall decent and good for a smartphone camera, curious to see the 6400 and 12800 ISO photos now.

For ISO 3200 it's pretty good imho!

Interestingly it was shot in Berlin, Germany.
Lol, I'm a damn genius, IFA Berlin...

Not the best shot for a comparison but this does give a rough idea.

Xperia Z2. 1600ISO shot

I feel this is quite impressive at least for pre production, at 1250 ISO and not much noise, and a lot of detail still, damn.

Disappointing, though it would be better or quite a bit better than the S5.
