the 6 seems structurally sound .. I have a hard time believing that it can bend under normal circumstances.

To be honest, I tend to think about it when I leave in my back pocket and sit, something I never had to worry about with the 808 or my ip5

Im bored of Apple.. just keeping up with the rest of the crowd.

They still wont persuade me to go back to them, after the iphone 4 I had I would never go back. Happy with Sony and happy to stay ahead with an innovating company.

Maybe its just the prolonged warmth from the human body that makes the aluminium supple ? if hes had it in his jeans pocket, it will have gotten warm and be more vulnerable to bending.

I think it got hot because it was left charging for a long time.

from the article:
“I plugged the phone in to charge overnight, and nothing was amiss,” Latiolais tells GeekWire. “I’d been taking a lot of photos and was so paranoid about hurting my brand new phone that I kept it in my coat pocket or hand all night. When I got home, I propped the phone against the wall to charge overnight. When I pulled it off the charger in the morning, it was bent along the angle it leaned on the wall. It’s almost as if it sagged. In fact, looking closely at it … I can see it’s not so much bent as curved, rounded almost.”

the heat, which I assume was generated from the inside, made the aluminum "softer" which is why it bent... or rather, sagged.

here's the photo he posted:

so I guess that's one more thing you have to watch out for (even if you have the 6 and not the 6+)... heat can make your phone susceptible to bending.

Here is how it looks like when you use the 808's full potential. Really impressive work by Apple on the software side, but still the 808 is cleaner. The difference will keep getting bigger with a higher ISO.. i should be able to test it out in the next few days.

You can also keep pushing the 808 up to around 16Mpix and it will still perform very well.

This is at 12

iPhone 6 has a very good camera... But not offer the same detail and sharpness of the Nokias 808 and 1020 and Sonys Z3 and Z3 Compact !!!

6+ camera is just freaking good...........i even think its looks better on some 808 vs 6+ pictures.........the 6+ looks more realistic.

awesome phone (except for the softness in the chassi of course)...just buy a thin leather case and you will be fine

I got camera + ... its a pretty shitty app actually The iPhone has a limit of 1/2 exposure time so.. it is what it is.

The new BSI sensor and the JPEG processing work very well with high ISO, but you can still see how hard the iPhone 6 has to work to maintain detail where the 808 performs the task with ease.

50iso

Unless its a faulty unit, or he is using the phone while charging for an intense task like gaming, this makes no sense. One the phone reaches 100% it stops charging..

While all of them are trying to be Apple ? Funny how that works

I have the 6, not the + ... and overall its not really all that close Next up I will do a video test where you will see the difference b/w lossless zooming and conventional digital zoom, sound quality, and of course IQ. The 808 video will probably drop more frames than the iPhone, but the image will be cleaner.. especially in low light.

Thanks for sharing

Even a blind man would see the blatant superiority of 808 PureView in relation the latest Apple phone

This test, ratify two truths:

1º Not a Chance. Physics Wins. Physics Always Wins

2º The reviewers DxOMark not understand absolutely nothing of photography in the mobile world
