At one of the big Australian networks in the internal device gallery under Sony a new device is listed as "coming soon" so who knows.

Well from what I know, in certain countries, Sony does not own their Sony stores but they are owned and controlled by other companies on behalf of Sony.
Likewise in countries like Canada, there are no more Sony stores, likewise in the US, I think only Sony Authorized Dealers exist now.
