Oh nice. It looks like it has some extra protection around the camera bump. Wonder how much thicker it makes the phone to put it into your pocket.
Seems they attempted to recreate the ore texture on the back too.
It´s thicker, but I don´t know your pocket size.
The case has a weight of 39g.
Received it yesterday.
The case feels high-quality compared to the first one I bought. Not as soft and it has strap holes and better opening for the power button. This is the case for the phone.
I won´t buy the Sony original.

Good to know! I might grab one because they are inexpensive enough. I think I want to get the sony original case though. I'm interested with the texture of the case, the fact that you can still see the beautiful color, and having a built in stand sounds good to me.
Hopefully, I'll be ordering my phone soon.

About 1 month in... how are you guys enjoying it?
Any issues? Do you guys experience camera lag as reported by some? For example, I've seen the following complaints. Any feedback on these issues?
1. Camera app does not open and become ready to take a photo quickly enough.
2. When taking a photo, the app shows a photo is taken, but the actual photo taken is slightly after so you get a blurry photo because you moved the camera.
3. There is lag when switching between lenses.
I will probably order mine next week. Pretty excited as it seems most people generally love it. I'm thinking to get the official case and spigen alignmaster screen protector. Those with the official case, are you still able to do wireless charging with no issue? Do you have trouble with the shutter button feel through the case? Does the case protrude slightly beyond the camera bump to protect the lenses? it doesn't seem like it does.

1. Close as many background applications
2. New 16.1MB firmware seemed to solve this issue. Gotta try out somemore to confirm if it disappeared. Saving photos to micro sd card seems faster too.
3. Similar as point 2. But to me in General , disable AI assistant and leave few background applications open.
For the sony camera case, it does not protect the camera Lens. But the Lens Design did recess by around 0.1 mm. SO after applied the case the whole back is flushed with the 3 lenses slight recess. Also try to remove your middle finger while shooting ultra wide because the camera might take part of it. For the shutter button feel after applied case, I did not expect it to feel tactile , but it works , so my worry was gone. 😁😁

Thanks for the feedback @tai
How are you enjoying yours?
I'm glad they seem to have fixed the camera issues. That seemed to be a common complaint among reviewers. Though making sure you don't have background applications open isn't a good enough solution, imo. For a premium phone in 2026, the camera app (or any app) should not be lagging because you have 10 apps in the background. Memory management should be better.

Yeah that's True. I checked my RAM usage IT DID NOT EVEN HIT 7GB, maxing out at 6 plus. Loving mine just like my other xperia, found myself grabbing it more likely because of it's casing and Overall grip Design.

Honestly, I've never noticed any major lag in the camera app, but after the latest small update, I have to say it's very fluid.

Does anyone use a lens protector?
There is a lens protector that covers the entire camera module, including all three lenses. It is made of 9H tempered glass and is 0.2 mm thick.
I’ve also seen separate lens protectors for each individual lens, though they are fiddly to handle.
However, I haven't seen any lens protectors for Sony Xperia from Spigen, only for several iPhone and Samsung models.
