I really need help! Where in scotland -edinburgh- can i find a se service center?

I've seen all these messages, and it seems likely to upgrade the software, but i'm not very experienced in these things, so could someone tell of how to upgrade the soft. Do you need to bring it back to SonyEricsson, or can you just do it throw your PC. Thanx a lot,

you can do it if you are familiar with mobile hardware, flash cables etc. and you can get the firmware, but if youre not (and because you said you are new i assume you're not
) then you should search for a service point.

One day, these mobile phone companies will realise that a phone is no more special than the ipaq, or pc, or archos MP3 player etc that I already upgrade firmware on and they will allow us to do our phones ourselves too and probably save themselves loads of money at the same time.

masseur you can do it already if you have a siemens s55! you just connect it to your pc with the cable, run the upgrader executable, and wait for about 15 minutes

yeah, I know there are one or two phones already, which is a good start, but we want SE to make this available.

I'm p*ss*d off!
Took my R5-T68m back to Carphone Warehouse to have the software flashed again (it's under warranty and had got buggy as hell)....and they put the same FW back in!!!! I was hoping for R8A.
Gutted!
