I believe the official consensus is that once one has reached the necessary amount of posts to make one's avatar fully solid, one is considered a 'regular member' or a fully fledged Esatonian. The definition of 'veteran' is somewhat more difficult to pin down, with some regarding the number of posts one has made as denoting one as a veteran, whilst others put more emphasis on the length of time one has been a member.
