the xp beta 1 service pack installation is spitting errors (like can't backup registry, etc. etc.) like there's no tomorrow.... sigh. i'll have to forgo this installation (and there's a warning that when the release service pack is made available, you have to remove the beta. well, as usual from microsoft)

Excuse my ignorance everyone. Does Windows XP SP-1 include MS Bluetooth

support or are they separate? If I get my hands on SP-1 will I also have to look for :bt: support or will that be enough? I know SP-1 is still in Beta (if I'm not mistaken) and I understood from the MS site that :bt: support in XP is also still not done.
Would much appreciate it if anyone could enlighten me here.
Thanks!

@Arnoldc
Have you figured out a solution to the random disconnects with FMA? I've made some minor changes and if I'm not mistaken, things are a bit more stable now - I'm still in testing now but so far it's been running without disconnecting for a couple of hours straight so it seems to be OK. What I did was to lower the refresh interval on my

connection manager (3COM software that came with my

device) - this allows the connection manager (and hence the PC) to search for

devices more frequently. I also lowered the Polling Interval on FMA and I enabled the "Auto Reconnect" option on FMA. These 3 things seem to have fixed it (hope I'm not speaking too soon). I later tried setting the Polling Interval back to 15 seconds because I had changed it to 1 second and this is very annoying if you have the FMA window open
After changing it back to 15 seconds it's still working fine without disconnection. So I think the refresh interval on the

device and the 'Auto Reconnect' option on FMA did the trick. Will let you know if it dies on me again
@float
I cannot help but commend you yet again on this marvelous creation of yours.
