I must have a split personality

P900-XDA2-P900-XDA2-P900-XDA2-P900-XDA2

Went mad and had both

Can you believe the company that where supposed to sell me the XDA2 sim free how now said that they can't.

They said that O2, gave them only 4 days authority to sell them sim free and the 4 days run out 2 days ago.....

Looks like I am back to square one again....

Getting a sim free p900 tomorrow and that is the end of it……Maybe I am not supposed to have this XDA2…..

its called vertical integration - the networks want to sell us devices that cater for their own value add services. Worst example being Three; see what they have done to their Motorola A920 customers? Orange is pushing the Smartphone version of PPC even though the Pxxx has sold in vast quantities (1 million) bacause they want to lock us into using their services.

@JJayMobile, As you may be aware, i like the P900, (I have already had a couple, & resold) but the P9 is what i'm sticking with. BUT BUT
BUT !!!
I have a cunning plan for you to get the XDA 2 from that place who o2 told could only sell for 4 days, if you got the guy in the shop to agree with it & because it was a FOUR DAY thing (ie, not a certain number of units) he could say that you ordered in the time period, but couldn't get your payment cleared because of a bank mix up/you thought you card had been stolen ETC & that they feel obliged to honour the verbal agreement, if they want the sale, they will do it.

I, coming from the p800, prefer the xda II... the p900 has just too little improvements over the p800. In terms of looks, I still prefer the xda II. Feature-wise, the xda II undoubtedly wins. I mean, what does the P900 have that the xda II doesn't - NOTHING! except for the silly keypad. Well, the P900 looks more like a phone than the xda but who cares... this is just my viewpoint...
