This is a great thread !! Jamshedd, you are a genius !!
I am using W550i and this worked perfectly on my phone. I have got the same funny problem as the others who have reported on this thread. I cannot make it work if I launch the browser from my phone. I am not really concerned with this as I can launch the browser from the Device Explorer and choose the minimize option from my phone to minimize the browser and continue !! Whenever, I need the browser, I simply can maximize it and ...... !!
I was wondering if anyone has got their phone more than what is been said here, like downloading software updates using this setting ??
There is this menu in W550i, "Internet Services"which has many sub-menus such as "Sony Ericsson", "Search", "Picture Gallery", "Settings" etc. These links just don't work, not even the option "Settings" !! I simply get an error message "Connection failure, Check settings.........." !! The inbuilt web browser on this phone doesn't even showup in Device Explorer !! Is there any way I can get these things working ??

When you for example send the .hid file trough bluetooth, the phone should automatically install it and add it to the remote control list...

now it's working... i was transfering the hid file to the memory stick instead of using the object-push function in the bluesoleil software... but how can i configure the buttons * and 0 ? it's not executing the operamini link...can i assign them to anything i want?
I've downloaded the BT RC tool from SE homepage so i could edit the hid files, but when i open any hid file the program simply crashes... funny
cheers

i think you dont need to setup internet profiles and data communications for just to work...
i tried it on a W810.. you just need to connect the phone to the usb cable and launch connection proxy and device explorer and browser..
does anyone had success in connecting using PCs internet using the built-in browser? the Sony Ericsson links.? not the java browsers..
