While you're at it, perhaps you can also consider linking a few (and for most of us, free) midi softwares........ and perhaps a good samaritan who'd do a small tutorial. As I see it most ppl have never done anything like it and it's not something very simple to just start frm scratch.

Me neither lol. seems you need a 'proper' midi set-up. Wish I still had my Atari ST.

I used to use Cubase at college (probably one of the best midi progs out there) but I'm not spending $600 dollars on it. lol
