Done It! Thanks for everyones help. What differences should i notice between the original firmware and the new one. I can see that the transaction between changing between the menu is much more fluent, and there is a new start up screensaver i think.

Great! I'm glad you finally got it sorted...
What files did you use in the end?

me too, anyone know if it still works?
Also during the first debranding flash, do you leave only the battery in, phone off and sim out... Cheers

Me too!
That i've asked for credit!!!
I was thinking that the username and password are supplied by FaceOffMobile along with credit.
Can anyone tell us what is wrong?
Maybe the server is down?
Or I am that stupid!
Cheers!

It works fine up to that point can anyone help me cause at the moment my phone doesnt work - it says configuration error contact your service provider or service centre. Help - whats going wrong?

It appears that there is such a mass of information flying around in this thread that it's starting to get messy. Would it be worth building a website which we can keep updated ourselves to help each other. We could include files to download too. Just something simple and straight to the point, also a step by step guide which can keep updated.
I have the hosting facilities and web building skills, just need someone with the tecno knowledge to help me put it together.
Any one interested?

My main concern at the moment Sy is knowing which files I need to upload as someone with a UK Orange K700i?
I don't want to be uploading the wrong files ....

BLIMEY I haven't been a here for a day or two and now I find its possible to get rid of these pesky Orange customisations
@anlog - yeah I got version 1.23 and couldnt update it with username and password
I also agree on having all this info and the DO's and DONT's in one place now that so much info has come in. Well done on the guide in the first place though!
