Just had dinner at my friends mums house, it was fabulous. Paté, soup, garlic amd lemon chicken, dauphinoises (not sure about the spelling, its cheesy tatties - gorgeous), roast beef, turkey, neeps, all the trimmings, followed by rum trifle, cheese and biscuits, all washed down with a glass of port and a few vodka, lime, and lemonades. Not really a snack, but definately great.
