The Sharp screen is so good I'm not bothered who made it
However I haven't seen the apparently cheaper & inferior Samsung screen yet. As I said before it will be a shame if its not as good but then again, it won't bother me as I've got a Sharp screen!

@MikLSP - I didn't have to do anything with my version when I installed it, worked fine only with all the text replaced with ???????? and some japanese text here and there.

Just converted Incredibles at 1500kbps/128kbps and it came out at 901,908KB !!!

Still fits on 1GB DUO though & looks fantastic. Real DVD quality! Can't imagine how UMD movies can get much better.

File size may be bigger because this is a true widescreen version while the other movie I did was 16:9

Whats the difference between Widescreen & 16:9 that would cause a larger file size?

Forget that. The Incedibles movie length is 1hr 55mins while the other one is 1hr 35mins.

The amount of compression will also vary on the movie I suppose.

I also had a look at the 768 & 1500 movies again a bit closer to see if there was any noticeable difference and there was more pixilation on the 768 in places but no pixilation/blockiness at all at 1500.

Well since the PSP is likely to be released in may or june i've decided to order the japanese PSP, (as long as you can change the language im happy)
