right! i'm sripping both my vista machine and xp machine right down!... all eye candy must go!!
ive got the classic win 98 erra theme, but cant seem to find the thing for disabling shadows and animations
done now
and yes i am bonkers!

Got an old Dell, perfect except it won't boot from CD in the boot loader menu or anyway atall.
Has 2 standard CD drives both plugged in but neither boot.
Any help would be apperciaed.

Yes, it just refuses to boot from CD and i'm not taking out the HDD, putting it in a caddy, plugging into EEE and installing it that way, especially as I rather have XP :-/

Ok sorted, got the OEM install disc and that worked a treat.
Just need two things;
Have installed a PCI Wireless card, unbranded generic thing and I need drivers, any ideas?
Can I use S-Video out as my only Display Output, if so how?

I have a Sandisk 4gb microSD card but when I formatted it in a Viewty, it shrinked it down to 2gb, it now shows in disk managment as 2gb and 2gb unallocated and it doesn't let me format the unallocated part, just the 2gb.
