Just for information;

I have an EU2 Generic UK K800i CDA102511/2 with R1CB001 firmware (from wotanserver) with wotan updated EROM (R3A016 is it?)

It did used to be branded O2-UK.

I am in north east england and SEUS says that it is the most up-to-date version.

QUESTION TO EVERYONE, PLEASE:
Why CAN'T I launch the internet browser shortcut button anymore? When I pressed it, which should have gone to Homepage, it didn't do anything. No effect at all. Hm, is it only me?

EDIT: sorted out! We MUST now HOLD the button for a second or two, NOT JUST PRESS it as it was in the previous R1BC001. It's not nice anyway. It takes more energy to just launch the homepage. Or is it only me?
On the other hand, the activity menu button works just normally. No need to HOLD the button.

Impressive - gone are the days when one had to run to the servicepoint for an update. Just updated mine, took 10 mins or so. Keep up the good work S/E.

About the web button, yes, I need to hold for 2 seconds before it goes to the web. It was directly launched by soft press in R1BC. Faulty button? Hm?

Can somebody please check if the Web Button - in new firmware - be mapped to the Music Playback function (with the choice of Last Used Radio/Walkman)?!

> this is the deciding factor of hoping to upgrade from W810 to the BOND K800 (I still want the K790 to also go BOND).

Still about the web button, no, mine is NOT faulty. When browsing by Opera Mini, it now serves as 'Ok' button to the highlighted link simply by pressing it, not holding it. It means that whether pressing or holding both give specific result. I really want others' remark though.

EDIT: just did keyboard test in service menu, and when I softly pressed it, it responded as 'operator' key. Normal.

In Aus, with a Wotan de-branded k800i (changed to HK firmware). Sucessfully updated it on SEUS...!

For some weird reason whenever i tried to update it on my computer it just kept saying unable to communicate with server. So i went and used my dads computer and it found the new update and downloaded + flashed perfectly~!! Woot~!!

I can confirm that the song titles (english ones) show on the SE bluetooth stereo headsets (forgot the model number...DS970 or sumthing..) Maybe its just me, but i'm unable to detect any change when using the bt headset and changing the equalizer settings and stereo widenning, hm...
