heres a question now i'v been using the g900 and i'v noticed if I open stuff it remains open and I have to goto the task manager and manually shut each application...now I know the g900 has lots of ram but I still find it annoying (and also I think battery life would become less)...what key is it to Quit (not minimise) the application once we are done? like if I want to get out of messaging what key do I press cause the back key definately isn't it.

Used Davinici to got R9M.
Problem still there.
I put back on my orignal CDA GDFS (mine was an HK orignally)
Problem still there.
Upgraded to R9N using SEUS, and problem still there!!
Will ring SE and see what they say

They said that I have to send it back (again), I will wait till after christmas.
But maybe Santa and his Elves could fix it for me

I normally use Task Manager. For exampLe, to get out of messaging, tap more, Task Manager and then, End. You can access the Task Manager from any application by taping More.

They probably have a better chance of fixing it than SE!

I am seeing a small blue envelope shaped icon next to the battery level on my g900 from time to time. Ican get rid of it by restarting the phone but touching it does nothing. I think it has something to do with my network but am not sure. Has anyone else seen this or know what it is?

My phone is a bit more stable now, The screen still darkens, but it doesnt effect performance as much as before.
The only thing Im doing different, is having a good few applications open, like Notes,Messaging, Media, Calender, TomTom.
Might be worth trying

I had the same problem when I updated to the latest firmware, luckily I had previously backed up the 1020867a.cre file from G900 on my PC.

Download it from here:
http://rapidshare.com/files/173840775/1020867a_patched.rar

I already patched the file, so don't patch it again, just transfer it to C:\Private\10202be9\persists\ and restart your phone.
Patched 1020867a.cre file from P1 is included here too, you can also try it instead of the G900 one with no problems.

Tried all that. I use Swiss Manager to close all tasks after start up releasing more RAM and it doesnt make a difference. My phone was so bad this morning that it took me about an hour to start it up. Kept having to restart it and removing the battery. Has been running ok since then.
