I hope the LED is better, the current ones are terrible and aren't even any good as a video light in my opinion.

Glass doesn't scratch???
Ah wait wait you mean glass can't break.

Glass Is harder to scratch than aluminium. This is simple physics.
Glass is a hard, albeit brittle substance. Aluminium is a soft malleable metal. Aluminium will bend and deform and scratch easily.
Glass can be scratched if you try hard enough, but it will shatter.

^ According to Sassho - Nice view , terrible lens, terrible quality - 1:1 Meizu MX4 stock camera quality.
As i said there, if you post as a Samsung device or any "Lumia", you would see "Wow! Fantastic! Better than any Sony!", "Amazing quality! Better than the rubbish Xperia"...

I actually think the Z3 design is a massive change from the original Z (as far as a touchscreen device can go).
I think Z3 was the big design evolution whilst maintaining the essence. The ONLY thing I don't like about Z3 design is the speaker/mic slits look like an iPhone. Especially in white (Z3 was the first Sony flagship for a while with the screen surround is also white). That looks to be fixed now.
So what if they keep the same base for another year? Other manufacturers have kept their designs for longer, or worse still, copied from other manufacturers.
The Z4 leaks look like a good incremental step. I'm not judging whether it is truly 'beautiful' until I at least see official press shots, better still, hold one in my hand.

To be honest I don't know enough about photography to make a justified comment about the image quality. I'd imagine that the average customer would be more that happy with the images the Z4 will produce.

Here is (possibly a world first) a full res 20.7mp image taken on the Z4. File size is 15.4mb so fairly large and remember this from a pre-production model still probably 2 months away from release. Enjoy.
Original
I hope they're going to fix it because quality is terrible, details are practically non existent.

truth be told, it seems like a very simple photo to measure quality but these types of landscapes are actually and very good test for a camera because of all the fine level of detail in the grass and trees.
at 100% it looks like an oil painting. Curious to see what another phone camera or a good P&S like an RX100 could do with the same scene.
In any case, it's not terrible and for most things, I'm sure it's a great camera. I very much enjoy the photos that my Z1 produces and Z4 is probably improved on that.
everyone seems to expect slr quality out of a phone camera these days.. wonder why.

same.. image processing. Still too much sharpening. Remember the case of Xperia Z's burst mode looking better than the auto mode
Why can't they understand that majority do not want overly sharp photos.

looks pretty bad imo. But huge file size is weird.
