This is the first time i am this excited for an announcement from sony.
Xz premium rumours pointed at a display with local dimming which can improve contrast ratio vastly and 1000 nits of white brightness.
These rumours were everywhere.
Is there any chance to see this kind of display in the future xperia.
Btw these kind of lcd displays are present in high end sony TV i think

Strangely enough the render that Nodar posted was very close to what I'd seen. I'd do think however what I'd seen was a concept and maybe something that come later on in the year.

And there are a total of 6 app (I'm guessing applications as in ' I'm applying for a job) or 6 devices? or since there is four -> a v1 and a v2 and e v1 and e v2
Or they're actual different concept/builds of the phones with different revisions to pass the FCC requirements - I don't know I'm excited and cant wait lol

About the brightness, I think they limit it on the 4K because of battery life.
TVs have more efficient backlit than phones.
Also they are always connected to power.
Phone Arena loved XA2 duo. Score was 7.8
A8 got less than 7.

Xa2 is a great phone
Here in india it is priced at around 310 dollars or 20k INR
Honor view 10 at 460 usd or 30k INR
Galaxy a8 at 510 usd or 33k INR
I think it is competitevely priced.
And btw a8 is overpriced
