@AbhiD999:
I'm pretty sure he was not talking about this picture.
He was talking about the leaked picture taken with the Honami by our japanese friend who's living in china (that should be right

)

No, not that low!
It is like comparing Kaz and Steve Balmer!
One is slim and one has a bump?
except that "Bald"mer's bump is at the front, not rear

Remember, the Lumia 1020 has about the same pixel size as Honami (slightly smaller) but performs much better (even without pureview I think), so my guess is the Honami also will perform better than the S4 Zoom.

Right, but the 1020 has larger sensor area.. which is the most important aspect.
So the question pixel size vs. pixel density is very complex and I won't even bother stating an opinion. With the current tech you could be sure about one thing.. the more sensor area you have, the better, from that point how you handle the actual size of the pixels is another matter.
Nokia went with high pixel density because of the zoom, and I think oversampling came as a bonus. Also, I think if you want to use larger pixels.. lets just say that Nokia cuts the 808 sensor into 12-16Mpix instead of 41, which would yield nice fatty pixels, might require modification to the optics and an even bigger hump, which won't go well with most consumers.
Mobile imaging is very tricky..

i think it's funny how cu01 always jumps in to defend nokia, even though no one is asserting honami is better, just that it would be an embarrassment for nokia IF, honami ends up producing better photos than 1020, WHICH cannot be really determined without final units and proper photo testing procedures as used on dpreview. (yes i said that all in one breath)
anywayyyyyy
from those small pics of honami, it's hard to tell which one i really want. i want to see some official shots! but obviously that won't come til later. I'm still going for white though. Like someone who said it earlier.. it stands out in a sea of black phones

are you prepare to get pocket-slam, if Z1 somewhat don't deliver to their expectation?

@pocketnow article:
Yeah, that's exactly the same thing I'd say to those 4K haters
@cu015170:
Just to clarify, I was just saying that Honami will be better than GS4 Zoom.
GS4 Zoom looks really crappy even compared to the normal S4:
http://www.gsmarena.com/piccm[....]25&idPhone2=5447&idPhone3=4577
There's no 1020 in that list, but clearly the 808 destroys them both.
Old sony cybershot cameras with old sensors (18MP) and the mighty 808 also destroy the GS4 Zoom (16MP):
dpreview comparison
Therefore my educated guess is that Honami also will destroy the GS4 Zoom.
Honami vs 1020?
That definitely will be an interesting fight, we shall see

I think it's pretty much clear with us that S4Zoom/Galaxy Camera were both crap in IQ. no need to prove anything there

and Honami's camera will "crush" it

also let's not bring 1020/808 discussion here any further to prevent senseless debates from fans of the other side
