Nah Gucci,Im using Mweb ADSL at work.Tried this morning to upgrade my firmware but can you believe it,the 'R5' firmware is the only one available for P990's with Vodacom and thats the one I have.Going to wait a month and try again 1st March.Was so so so so disappointed.
I did my first P990i firmware upgrade using a Nokia 6680 as a modem and it went fine.I think it even lost a signal at one point and I had to restart the process and it just took off from where I had left off,so give it a try.

Right now the temperature indoors is 30 degrees, which is why i'm lying on my back outside, counting the stars. The mosquitoes are also out in force, and they seem to love me, the little wretches. They'd probably use Motorolas and work for the Receiver Of Revenue if they were human, the little bloodsuckers.

Again, the
P1i was occasionally prone to blurring unless I was fairly careful and steady, but when I got it all right (like the 'white balance' settings etc), wow, some really good

When is the R6 firmware going to be available for us SA P990i Vodacom users? Who should I start emailing? One plus eventhough I didnt do an upgrade is I did a master reset and formatted my card.Only transferred my contacts from the backup I made and have got rid of all that rubbish that gets distributed on the phone over time.Its so refreshing starting from stratch.
