Well, IMO not necessarily. Isn't it the AF and Xenon flash features that adds to the thickness to phones now? Non-AF cams seem to perform quite well in the most recent devices. the W890i seems to have a good cam.
I wouldn't be surprised if Samsung squeezed a non-AF 8.0MP cam into a sub 12mm frame soon.

so to be an ass, this thread shouldnt exist cuz none of the information is spread by word of mouth. i see no audio files in this thread ... not even by you.
i dont make myself look like a fool, you implied that i was one because of the way i responded to your condescension. which is fine, its the internet. but you had a great opportunity to respond like an adult to the issues that i have presented, yet you want to debase my post by calling me a fool and defining rumor.
really, is that helpful? this immaculate thread doesnt need the word rumor defined after 1100 pages ...
how does it belong i explained exactly how, with facts and opinions inferred from said facts. anyone can make a clear case based upon what SE themselves has provided from press releases, that have been linked in this "rumors" thread. there have been MANY announcements made of the past 9 months (10-11 if you count PK and paris jump starting this topic in november of last year). so why is it such a problem, its clearly not off topic, unless your narrow view is the only one we are to hold here?
im not sure why youre so defensive, i was making a point, i was also making the point that you are contributing to SE's problem, instead of being a mini-mod why dont you add something, instead of terrorizing other posters?

Back on topic - I haven't been in here for over a month and still nothing, zip, nada, zilch ... Not even a rumor of a decent device. Everything is still being rehashed by SE with old slow chips and hardware. Blehhh!
And please don't tell me to check out W902, C905 or Xperia either ... Boring!
Will check this thread in another month or so but I'm pretty sure it'll be the same old sorry story, again!

Don't you know by now, Mizzle et all are the sole reason why SE is still in business. They will buy anything SE throws at them and praise it to no end regardless of any facts.
All you have to do is say "SE rocks" or "SE for President of earth" and Mizzle might come around and be friends with you.

I never said your questions don't belong here - often they do, and I also find myself answering them once in a while. What doesn't belong here, however, is the - from some people - endless yappering about why SE doesn't do this and that, and a series of "well-thought" analyses of their problem. Having said that, I don't consider myself having a perfect analysis of the problem, nor do I think I'd be able to do one.
I really don't mind the yappering, just do it in the right places. You don't visit a rumours thread to hear about crying fanboys, nor would you want to visit a nokia forum to read about SE phones.
