Hm, SE has always said H2 2008 for X1 and most web shops do have an october date for the X1 in Sweden, so delay isn't here yet. I don't say it will be on time when finally delivered but right now it's not delayed at all...

), I have been using a Tytn II lately solely to see if I can take the leap to WM. I will say the last thing first, if SE would release a final decent UIQ3 device, I would get it without a doubt. That's why I'm still hanging around trying to determine from the often purposely misguided rumors whether that will happen.
WM devices are primarily PDAs first with a phone attached whereas Symbian devices are phones with PDA functions and you will feel the difference when you are using them. As far as sound quality and camera performance goes, the P990/P1 is better than Tytn II, however, the latter has a much better integration of all the office and Internet related programs. Oh, did I say that you can find almost any program you want for WM? This is a change from UIQ3...
In the rumors department, I'm really curious if SE has any plans to better integrate all these office & Internet programs - on a non WM device other than X1.
Really, I fail to see how SE hopes to make a living in the WM world,especially when they don't even build the devices themselves...

I agree with Makbil, WM is not friendly at all and the stylus is essential. UIQ is so much easier for simple tasks and still very good for office stuff while WM is excellent for office only.
I think
will continue with UIQ because the P series was unique in that they have UIQ on touchscreen. It is a great alternative to WM. Even the G900 will satisfy your business needs. Now its a case of people wanting a really high spec device.
A little bird told me that there are many designs and protos around for things like Paris, Beibei and Hicaru (he says Hicaru will be a P) but changes are always being made. One interesting thing he did say about the UIQ is that it will have some nice additions like the way you unlock the screen (you draw a shape), he can't tell if it will be a final thing or not. UIQ on the Beibei is ready and running and could be used instead of the updated one.
Sadly for some of you, he said the Nokia N96 is like a gap filling device until the touchscreen device comes and their main priority is to have the highest spec of all devices. Their UI is also looking distinctive, like 'this is obviously a Nokia'.
I hope
gives more UIQ devices because it is the ace up their sleeve. It is something that they should exploit more whether it is W, P or G, I just want to see more.
