Honami will weights around 190g
And:
The metal power button is so much smaller than the one on Z and the phone is a bit heavy. Almost same weight as Z ultra... 5" and almost same weight as Z Ultra (which is thinner), I guess it's the battery. Yes it's thicker, similar to Z.
It's brighter and more white than Z/V. And also X-Reality colors are not as saturated as Bravia Engine 2. Z Ultra display is better with richer colors and contrast although both are using the same screen. I just did a comparison side by side with Z Ultra. Z Ultra is much better whereas Honami is whiter/brighter. But take it with a grain of salt as I think the firmware in Honami is old.
Tried the camera, nothing to be wow about seriously. There's this bo liao app where you can take AR effect like a 3D dinosaur/fairies in the backdrop lol

bottomline is that Megapixel race would make more sense if it's used properly. like in photography. if the sensor increases its pixel count while at the same time improving noise suppression without adverse effects on the image output, I have no problem with it. in fact I've been dreaming of a gigapixel camera since last year
The problem isn't the megapixel count increase, but rather the fact that they keep increasing it without correspondingly increasing the sensor size.
That's why they made such a big deal out of BSI, which allows you to dip below 1.4 microns, which then allows you to use the same tiny sensor, but advertise the larger mpix count as an "advantage" over the previous version.

I would have preferred a 12 or 16MP sensor from sony, 20 is overkill and I wouldn't even go for 20 on my APS-C sensor, 16 is plenty for me.

its not an overkill if they are using the pixels in an intelligent way.. An oversampled 5-6mpix image should look pretty good if the algorithm is effective.

What about in the 8MP mode?

I personally believe this so called tester is a hoax, this device is about to be released to the masses next month (IFA Product Launch) and when I say released I mean hitting the retail markets, testing of the Honami has been completed a long time ago, official release firmware has been listed on the PTRB
Nothing the guy said could convince me he didn't make it up in fact based on what he did say just makes me believe he's a scam artist, facts that are known about the Honami are the camera app as it's been extracted on XDA already plus the phone is going to be thicker than the XZ due to the increased battery size and camera sensor - plus there's no way an official tester would be allowed to release such information............think about it
I firmly believe he made it up
