Hi everybody! I have a question. If i send Someone a text message, does that person have to pay to recieve it? Because someone told me that u guys there have to pay for recieving calls and mms and text messages?

The short answer is no. The long answer is we do not have to pay for domestic calls/long distance if we have the necessary minutes (included in the plan). SMS/MMS is included in certain plans. That depends on your provider. However, international calls/sms/mms is a different story. That will cost you. But to be sure check with your provider or the person you gonna call.

I know this is going to sound like heresy, but I think I may save up for the i-mate k-jam instead of the next P. All the things I really liked about the P no longer seperate it from the other devices of its type. I still love my P910, but I don't expect it to last too much longer.

I skipped out on shopping and instead stayed home and watched TV. No way I was going out in that shopping madness.

i'm new in the US, can i get a sim only for prepaid/pay-as-you-go service? everything i saw so far comes with a phone, i don't need the phone as i have a spare P800. what would you recommend - T-Mobile, Cingular, etc.? I need something that comes with data service (GPRS, internet), if there's such a thing. Thanks

:-l @REO Why are you trading your S710? You will be disappointed with camera which is mediocre and having no Edge will be a big loss too ... This message was posted from a S700

If you have a spare P800, then I would recommend T-Mobile, because they use the 1900mhz band exclusively. Cingular is expanding their 850mhz band. They also use the 1900mhz band, but in some places they only use 850mhz. And your P800 does not have a 850 anyway.
