beware of 'spyware' such as gator. it takes the information collected from your PC and submits it almost all marketing databases. it also sucks your network bandwidth soooooo bad. like one of my officemate's PC was infected and from his PC it transferred like 3 GB of information in two days.
use lavasoft's ad aware to remove spyware.
some of you may know about this already, but i just want to remind.
