i hav been trying 2 connect 4 the past 4 days.they hav limited the data transfer to 880bps.some wap sites open in opera but pure text only no images loading,we cant even download.
try this if it can be useful 2 any one of u.

There is problem for me in using this trick only on pc . In mobile its working fine with very high speed . Accessing web pages thru Opera mini is also faster than before now . Downloading speeds on phone is also better than before . Yesterday morning i was able to use the trick on pc but it lasted 4 only one hour . I am using Airtelfun.Com apn

frendz i might b wrong but i am just giving my views abt this trick...i am a series 60 user i dont know abt other phones... 4 me this trick works good on phone using opera... I can even download an mp3 on my phone like b4 only prob is accessing pages on pc.... Since this trick works on phone Instead of dialing to the modem y cant we connect 2 gtel using the phone streaming method and then connect to the pc using software like gnubox can this type of connection disguise them by thinking we r not using the pc through dial up method. Correct me if i am wrong!

for me in my phone after 30 to 40 secs it just stops
wap sites with very minimal amount of data wil only load like google

Hi Folks,
I've been accessing the intenet from my laptop using this trick for quite a while.
But for the past one week i've been having a problem. I am able to connect to the internet using my airtel gprs connection as usual with no connection errors. However once i connect i am unable to download any web page. The browers keeps trying endlessly but no page gets downloaded.
I would like to know if any guys out there are facing the same problem and if someone could give me some kind of cause why this is happening.
