Looks very fake to me. I don't think SE would release a phone like that now.

SE should forget about Walkman and Cybershot series for their high-end phones. People nowadays do not buy high-end smartphone solely because of its photographic or music capabilities but the combination of both, it's all about convergence. Beside, these two lines have died long time ago and SE should not bother reviving them. Xperia and Entertainment Unlimited are good enough high-end series for SE. Leave the Walkman and Cybershot to low-end.

I would expect no high-end phone from SE next year with less than the following features:
-32 GB MoviNand internal memory, microSDXC memory card slot
-1080p video recording @30 fps, stereo sound
-Plasma flash instead of Xenon and Dual LED flashes
-4" 720p capacitive SLCD screen with 16 million colors and multi-touch support, at least 326 DPI
-Two stereo speakers and mics (and another one for noise cancellation)
-gyroscope
-HSPA+ up to 21mbps or 42mbps
-microHDMI (Acer Stream, which has just been released, is the first mobile phone to have this type of connector)
-Bluetooth 4.0
-Secondary front-facing camera
-1.5 ghz ARM 8 dual core processor, 1 GB RAM, 2 GB ROM
-Built-in headset-free FM Radio with RDS, FM Transmitter
-plus the common features - microUSB 2.0, 3.5 mm jack, etc.
Samsung for sure will have smartphones with better hardware specification than this, but at least SE will stand a chance if they incorporate these features into their high-end smartphones.

Not that one, the pic at the start of the thread 'Soon Announcement.'

Even if it was real, it's styling is closer to SE's styling in the C905 days, not the X10 and Vivaz days we're currently in the middle of. That says to me that if it exists, it is a canceled prototype.
It certainly looks fake.

@badassmam
As usual thank you for info.
I hope this WP7 device will be at least as good in design as X1/X2.
And will have a qwerty. At least as good as on X2.
The question is also about DPad/navipad........

Really, you don't seem to know what you're talking about. You're just listing a load of buzz words and numbers... BlueTooth 4.0, really? Isn't that just BlueTooth 3.0 with an added low power profile for certain specialized uses? 720p on a phone, really? The DPI will be insane and I don't think any modern phone OS currently would run on it... That resolution alone would be a hell for SE software engineers to rebuild or retool lots of apps or even an entire OS to make the most of it and apps in the app stores would not use the resolution... Plus, power usage would be higher too...
Seriously, all those numbers and specs don't mean anything in today's market to the average customer.
SE has other priorities in my opinion and the most important one is software. They can't even get Android 2.1 out fast enough, and let's not start about Android 2.2. For their next high end phone, they should make sure it'll run Android 3.0 Gingerbread well enough at launch or close to launch. Until they can bring that, they should make sure that any phone that can't run Android 3.0 hardware wise, should run Android 2.2 from now on.
Phones until Android3.0 should include specs close to or slightly higher than X10 with a 3-4 inch display and a nice camera imo. Most importantly, all newly announced Android phones should run at least Android 2.2 from now on.

@doministry
The 'X3' should have a qwerty since its the only attractive feature of the X1 and X2 that fooled some into buying the damn things, me included. I would imagine that it will look more like the Vivaz Pro with human curvature design for example. There are certain things that they cannot change much due to the OS and I'm not sure if that includes the qwerty as well i.e. does it have to have certain features. So far we have seen the LG Panther qwerty which look quite basic so we don't know if certain buttons would work for example, if there is a shortcut for SMS/MMS like on the HTC Touch Pro 2.
@Ultimus
You're right, big numbers and specs are often outdone by fashion and cool. Apple seems to ship their phones with 'happy' which is why they do well. More importantly, hardware means nothing if the software is crap so

should totally ditch 2.1 and dive into 2.2 for the X10. The difference between 1.6 and 2.1 is big but its not so bad between 2.1 and 2.2 nevertheless, they should get with the times. Its like buying this year's ManU kit and having 'Ronaldo' on the back, it clearly looks better on a Madrid shirt. Just look at how many cameras are on him now and how many new fans he has as well.
