The thing that is frustrating to me is that SE have, in my opinion, been great in rectifying some of the mistakes they've made in recent years and, from a software perspective at least, seem to be addressing these, however, they seem to be supporting there hardware with accessory support less and less.

A few years back there were far more accessories and possibly these did not sell too well and SE subsequently don't invest as much into this area of their business (understandable considering their difficulties over the last few years), however, now, with smartphones supporting docking modes and smart accessories it's annoying that there are no first party solutions made to match the product (or product family). With regards to car docks, I note Samsung, LG, Motorola, Google all have docks for there latest handsets - come on Sony Ericsson, keep up!!! This isn't a deal breaker, I've ordered a SE Arc, however, frustrating it most definitely is!!!

Rant over.

Yeah, this is the first time i want a real acessory. and now there is none to get. to bad i cant build one my self :S

the arc dock cant be that stylish when the 3.5mm and hdmi is facing eachother, i guess i will have to live with that (but if it's only for tv you dont need the 3.5mm you have the hdmi only. and vice verca (you ought to be able to put your phone in 2 modes) landscape and the oposite landscape? the option to remove a quick connector on each side for 3.5mm and hdmi. so pls someone make this happen!

Do SE phones these days come with a 2 year warranty??

Not sure about the rest of the world, but in Sweden they've still got a 2 year warranty. That's one of the reasons why I buy .

Has anyone seen silver available anywhere yet? Seems most places have blue only.

Could any Arc dock not just use usb? Surely the audio from phone to dock on a desktop dock can be output this way, or am I missing something? NB. I missed the bit about the hdmi, this kind of through a spanner in the works! doh.
