Performance is very important! After I broke my XZ2 Compact I went to low end Huawei which was an awful and lagging experience with absolutely no point having multiple apps open because they would all refresh. I then went for the XA2 which I found very slow, lots of refreshing on websites. Now I'm on the XZ1 and it's fast and smooth. The apps remain as I left them without refreshing. This experience has taught me to always for a flagship even if it's older than the current midrange, the performance difference is staggering.

I totally agree about the performance (in terms of lagging, speed, opening apps time etc) of Xperias. The speed is above everything else. I am still with my Xperia XZ and looking forward for XZ4. I was thinking to upgrade to XZ3 but at that time, my XZ performed well so couldn't find solid reason to change. But now, the battery starts to show problems and this gives me good reason to change.

Does sony still have own battery division?
My phone is 34 months, but battery is as good as day 1.
Does not seem to have lost capacity.

s9+ note9 xsmax xz3.
Does the tiny difference in the first
round among them make any sense? 0.03sor1s?
Second round and reload percentage does.
Fanboy's blind theory makes me laughing.
Both of u think Sony is the best, not even think about the real situation.

I don't know if they still have their own factory, but I'm sure they still have division.
Battery care is probably the reason for less capacity loss?
