L4 has NFC, they do not need to create another low end just for Japan.
Jus tput IP68 on it.

Sony USA follows noe T-Mobile USA on twitter.
Very suspect. Any partnership coming?
Can someone tells status of 10+ II?
Will it ever see daylight?

very curious about this as well. I'm finding @SonyUSA (yet this is not an official 'Sony' brand Twitter account). Also I'm not finding an @T-MobileUSA t-mobile account. However @SonyXperiaUS does exist (amongst a long of other official 'Sony' brand accounts and this one is not following anything T-Mobile / TMobile / USA account). Did you mean T-MobileBusiness ?
Regardless ... T-Mobile USA partnership would be VERY nice.
Sony Xperia 1 mark II ... 'It Is Your Destiny"

It is Sony Electronics.
I said USA, because account is from North America.
Trademark: Xperia Book

Please, do not be something stupid like Galaxy Fold ...

Yeah. Please make a really usable device rather than rushing out half baked product. BTW I like the name Xperia book!

To be honest, a foldable tablet makes more sense than these foldable phones/flip phones.
For me, my Note 8's display is enough for me. If I want to watch a bigger display, I'll jump on my TV or laptop.
It's just not justifiable. The fold is just not ergonomically enjoyable.
As for the flip, it is very feminine for my taste.

Motorola Razr looks like a cellphone.
Z Flip a makeup case.

XperiaBook ... definitely a great name for a tablet in my thoughts. Maybe, just maybe Sony returns to this space in a big way in 2020.

From Buks .....
"The parameters of Sony Xperia 5 II (mark 2) are also:
Qualcomm 865 + 8GB + 128 / 256GB
6.0 inch 21: 9 FHD + HDR OLED
Hold width 68mm
The same four-camera system as Xperia 1 II
One button for power fingerprint identification
IP68, Android 10, 3600-3800mAh battery"
Someone asked if the main difference would be screen.
He said something about vibration too.
I think it means no dvs, not sure since I dont read chinese.

From Weibo
Customize the RBBG OLED 120Hz 10Bit screen with positive arrangement. It can greatly increase the lifespan of the blue sub-pixel (the ratio of the light-emitting area has changed), and can also achieve normal RGB display. The disadvantage is of course that it uses twice as many pixels as the ordinary Pentile.
This results in a 6-inch 2520x1080xRBBG pixel density, the same as the 6.5-inch 3840x1644xRG / GB.
The addition of 480Hz PWM makes it easier to control the brightness of the dark part, which is very meaningful for 10Bit display.
