SMS messages cannot be stored on the phones memory or the memorycard. Like all other S//E's it has a separate memorypool for sms messages. Its been upped to hold 210 messages, but you will still need to clean up when this limit is reached. You cannot save them onto the memory.

Ok how do I get the cool funky signature saying I posted using a K750i? Mine only says I used a wap device.

Hi all... it's been 3 weeks now since i got my K750... Pretty much finished tinkering with every aspect of it.... very stable piece.. I have had no crashes or freezing and it's easily the best non smartphone available presently.. i am on R1a frimware and since i have had no problems, i think i won't go for the R1J yet.. and i'll wait for future firmwares...Anyway Just some questions i have come up with that i'd like the answers to:
1) Is there any way to turn off the replays in the tennis game? i am getting sick of manually cancelling the replays after every shot... Btw i won 3 tournaments and am now playing the fourth tournament of the game...
2) I read that there is a limit to mms size that is restricted by the phone... But i went to menu>messages>Settings>picture message>Creation mode and i set it to "Unlimited".... and after that i sent a 1200Kb mms without a problem... I mean was it supposed to be so easy to change that? and what are the other option in creation mode for i.e. "Alert"?? Mine was set on "limited" earlier...
3) when i Open a 2 Mp picture in PhotoDJ and select the add clipart option, the cliparts are way too tiny to be used effectively with the photo size... and it does not seem worthwhile.. for eg: If i wanted to add a goggle to a friend's face, the goggle covers only one eye.. Is there any way to zoom the cliparts relative to the picture so that they fit nicely? and if not, what's the best size photo to use the cliparts with? even VGA quality is out of proportion...So photo Dj seems like a waste to me...
4) Is there a chance that the volume button on the side can be configured to be used for scrolling down pages on wap instead of using only the joystick.. (as in the t610?)... to preserve the joystick life longer as i am a frequent wap user... maybe in future firmwares?

Has anybody here had issues with the IR function?
I can receive things from my laptop, I can use the phone as a modem, I can send things from my phone to laptop via copy-paste in the SE file manager.
BUT
I can't just send things from the phone to the laptop. It connects then the pc asks to accept (which i do) and it instantly display Item send (phone) / received (laptop).
Although nothing has been received.
I have yet to check this with another phone (sending phone to phone).
Firmware : R1J

Well, 200 is alot better than whatever there was on the T610 so I think I'll buy the k750i anyway.
I have another question though.
Is it possible to copy the text-messages on the phone onto a computer with the usb-cable?
I really want to avoid having to go through that sms-cleanup-process, heheh

I haven't had problems with this. and just tried it again sending files to make sure with the new firmware and it worked fine for me.

Well I just checked with my R520.
I sent some sounds over to my R520 and it worked flawlessly.
I guess that it's probably my laptop, an old banger (1998). Will do more troubleshooting. Thanks for the help.

Sure, Floats Mobile Agent for S//E phones, a freewareprogram that lets you do all kinds of great things. Archive txt messages from your phone to your pc, write txtmessages on your pc and send them through the phone + lots of other nice features.
